"Homework" is meant as review and practice to further explore what has been learned during the school day. It is not assessed. Homework in the traditional sense will not be assigned. Please check back here frequently for games and activities for the students to practice what we have previously covered in class. Reading logs and books will be sent home.

As you may have heard, school closures have been extended to May 31 for the time being.

Math - We are beginning double-digit subtraction. It will be the same format as the last 2 weeks with the double-digit addition. The first week will be on questions without borrowing and then the second week will move into borrowing.

Language - You and your child can practice this concept at home by having them come up with a list of instructions on "how-to" do/complete something, and you follow it exactly. Did they miss steps? Were the steps clear enough for the reader to follow without having to make inferences about what to do next?

Language - Practice orally completing a recount of a different event than the picture that was brought to school. Oral Communication - We have been working on proper speaking and listening behaviour. One task that we have been practicing is responding when we are spoken to. For example when someone says "Good Morning" or "Good Bye", you would respond with an appropriate respsonse.
